Clover's Story...
Being Valentine’s this week I am sure you have all those left over crimson hearts, right? Well you know what goes great with Crimson? Yup, Clover!! Crimson and Clover, over and over! So! You know what will bring you good luck 365 days a year? A four legged Clover! Who happens to be me! Good luck, Feng Shui, and an adorable face?!?! Looks like some lucky family is gunna hit the pup jackpot because I love kids, I love other dogs and I love snuggles! And yes, I am still a pup and I am still fully of that puppy energy, so I will need lots of patience and guidance to help me grow into a well behaved lady. Don’t worry about your green thumb though; I just need love, training and understanding, ok….. and a little water. I just love playing with the other dogs here, it's such great way to burn off some of this energy. Oh! And I could chase cats all day! I am doing pretty darn good with my crate training too! So! Let me be all the wonder you need and this summer you can roll in the sun with this Clover! 9 months old-54lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes; microchip, spay, reduced cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clover, a Portland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
