Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Irene is a 10 month (born April, 2012) old Great Pyrenees puppy who came to rescue due to lifestyle changes in her former home. Irene currently weighs a bit under 70 pounds, but will keep growing for another year or so. She is a sweet puppy who is gentle. Irene gets along well with other dogs, but has not been around cats. She does not need to be in a home with other dogs. Irene is friendly to people and likes to play with children. She walks fairly well on leash and is house trained and crate trained. Her foster mom states that “her favorite things to do are chew on Nylabones, play in the snow and cuddle on the couch or at the foot of our bed. We love having her at our house. She is such a good girl.” Irene is still a puppy and likes to chew on blankets and rugs. She will also bark to alert you to other animals or large trucks. Irene’s former owner was a dog groomer and decided to test out a new pink dye on Irene. Hence her pink head and tail. It will wash out in time.
Irene is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and negative for heartworm and tick diseases.
An adoption application, site visit, adoption fee, and secure visible fencing are required to adopt Irene.
