Sally's Story...
Meet Mustang “Sally” she has been runnin' all over town, with her black lab/hound friend Toby. There is no telling how long she has been on the go, but it seems to be most of her life. Sally is around 8 months old, special in every way and sweet as can be. She is a little intimidated when around too many dogs, and some people, but easily bonds with people she trusts. She is fine around a few dogs and cats don’t seem to faze her. She is so affectionate, loves to be petted, pampered and to stay close next to you. She is all girly and you can’t help, but to want to protect her from the big bad world that is out there. She needs someone that is willing to spend time training, building up her confidence and just loving her. Sally is up-to-date, HW tested negative and de-wormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sally, a Huntsville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
