Collin's Story...
Hey you. What’s up?! My name is Collin and I’m a darling 5-6 year-old Chow/Shepherd mix. I’m a well-behaved beauty boy looking for a family to call my very own. If you’re into cuddling and all that mushy stuff then I’m most definitely the doggy for you. I’m a social boy who loves to shower people with affection. Getting brushed is most certainly a delight for me. Did you know I’ve got brains too? I know my sit and down commands and am quick to learn. Although I’m a very mellow and gentle lad I’d prefer to live with older kids please. Haven’t you always wanted a little boy to love? Well, you’re looking at him.

Act quickly to adopt Collin. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Collin, a Huntington Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Chow Chow/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
