Mamies pup - OUTLAW's Story...
MAMIEs Puppies – OUTLAW - Just arrived Sunday, Feb 17th by Pilots and Paws plane transport from GA. Mom is a medium size hound mix. She is only 40lbs. The puppies are large for their 4 weeks of age, so, dad is probably good sized. He is reported to be a wolf hybrid according to the woman that surendered them to the shelter (not an option on here, so we chose Husky). Only one little boy looks like mom. They are running around happy and eating dry food like champs. We are taking deposits now, they will be ready to go home on Sunday, March 3rd. The neuters will be scheduled through FARRs vets as soon as they are ready. They are fostered in Largo with an adoption fee of $200 which covers Neuter as soon as they are ready, 2 Parvo Distemper Vaccines, and 2 dewormings.

If you are interested in adopting, please send an email to AdoptFromFARR@yahoo.com with Mamie’s Pups listed in the subject line. Please include your name and return contact info.

FARR places our rescue pups in personal foster homes throughout Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pacso Counties. FARR – Florida Retriever Rescue is a 501c3 NonProfit group composed totally of volunteers working to save the lives of neglected and unwanted dogs. The adoption fee helps to cover the first 2 shots, Dewormer, and neuter or spay fees, as well as a rabies shot, if the dog is over 4months at time of adoption, and a heartworm test, if the dog is over 6months at time of adoption, as well as any transport or pull fees FARR may have paid to the shelter for our rescues. All funds taken in are used strictly for the care and health of our rescues. You can also check out our other available rescue dogs and puppies currently fostered around the Tampa Bay area by visiting FARR Adopt-A-Pet http://www.adoptapet.com/adoption_rescue/75598.html or FARR Pet Finder http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/FL466.html Thank you for your interest in a rescue dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mamies pup - OUTLAW, a Largo Hound (Unknown Type)/Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Husky for sale in Largo, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Husky puppy from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Husky breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
