My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hershey - Hershey is a sweet little gal, about 3 years old. Beagle and Cattle Dog mix we think, not 100% on that but pure cute. She was in a home 3 years and they left her at a shelter and said they had allergies suddenly. She was adopted by some folks who had her a short time and returned her as they didn't feel it was a good match.

Hershey isn't super hyper, but does enjoy playing. She weighs a little over 30 lbs. and, according to previous owner she is completely house trained and crate trained. She also does well with children over the age of 7. Hershey knows basic commands including sit, down and come. They have never had her around other dogs, but the owner who brought her back originally said she was shy with other dogs, yet friendly. Hershey is described as a curious and playful dog that enjoys playing fetch, quiet time, running, toys and going for long walks.

Contact Mindy at mmiller@beaglebuddies.org to obtain an application. Submit the application form and we will schedule a time to meet the pet. If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Beagles over 5 years of age have an adoption of $100 and if younger than 5 years the fee is $125. All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, are up to date on vaccinations, and a copy of vet records is provided upon adoption to set up a file at your vet. We supply collar, temporary ID tag until you can use till you get one, and leash. All beagles are micro-chipped as well.
