Harley's Story...
Harley is a charming boy. He is handsome and his face is oh so cute. He is a laid back cat who enjoys hanging out with the other kittens and chasing toys around the house. During the day, he can be found napping on the huge cat bed in the den or in one of the carpet condos. After work, he enjoys window time to watch the birds aand squirrels outside. He will greet you when you come home and wait for you to acknowledge him with lots of petting and a few kisses on the head. He sleeps at the foot of the bed or in one of the cat beds on the floor in the master bedroom at night. He has a soft and gentle meow which is the cutest - I can always tell it's him by the meow which is mostly due to him wanting attention or a treat! If you are interested in fostering or adopting Harley, stop by the Leesburg Petsmart on Saturdays 11am-3pm. Estimated DOB is 6/24/2011.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Reston Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Reston, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Reston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reston paves the way for another one to be saved.
