Tessa's Story...
Tessa is a happy-go-lucky girl who is 11 years old but she's not letting age slow her down. If you met her you would think she's around five years old! She's spunky and loving and loves to have her bum scratched.

She is a very pretty girl, with an arrow shaped white spot on her chest, an adorable docked tail, and unique coloring. Tessa gets along well with both dogs and cats. She instantly became "part of the pack" in her foster home and plays nicely with everyone. She loves to offer her paw or give you a high-five when she is looking for a treat.

She spent 11 years with her original family and was with them since she was eight weeks old. Health issues with one of the children forced her family to surrender her. She was obviously very loved.

She is very well behaved and happily sleeps in her bed without needing to be crated.

This loving girl deserves her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tessa, a Worcester Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
