My shelter name is "Jenny" and I'm a verrrry loving purrer with nice manners. The Shelter Photographers had a hard time getting my photo, because I just wanted to roll over & get belly rubs! I'm a classic grey tabby with big green eyes and cute white whiskers. I'm a little on the shy side, but once i get to know you, I'm affectionate and a bit flirty! I'm a youngster, just about 3 and I'm already spayed, so I'm ready to get out of this cage and into a new loving home! Please come in and ask to visit with me! I'm in cage #127.
Shelter Info...
We are the Animal Shelter for the City of El Cajon. We also house animals for the City of La Mesa. We take in strays and animals relinquished by their owners from these two City's only. We adopt out the animals that are not claimed by their owners. You do not have to live within the City to adopt an animal from us. We sometimes have animals other than dogs and cats.
We are located in the City of El Cajon which is east of San Diego. 1275 N. Marshall is two blocks north of Fletcher Parkway, Marshall runs parallel with the trolley tracks.
We are open Tuesday thru Saturday 10am to 5pm. The latest we start an adoption is 4:30. We are closed Sundays and Mondays.
Our adoption fee for dogs is $80.00 and cats are $80.00 All other animal adoption fee's are based on the type of animal.
We do an evaluation with you and the animal to be sure that it is the best animal for you. We require that all children in the household under 9 years old be evaluated with the animal and if you are adopting a dog and you currently own a dog, your dog needs to be evaluated with the new dog to be sure they get along.
