A little bit about Soho. He was a very shy and timid dog when I first found him, but now that he has had some food and water in his belly and a little attention, his personality is beginning to show! He is a very sweet boy that loves to have his ears and back rubbed. He is very energetic, as we believe him to be around 1-2 years old from what the vet says. He loves to play fetch, but its more like I throw the toy and he chases it, sniffs it, and comes back to me without the toy! :) He plays very well with other dogs and likes children as well although I think he would be best suited with older children because he does like to jump up and give kisses. He might knock little ones down. He loves to run and play in the backyard, and is learning to walk on a leash, but I don't think he had ever been on one before, so he is progressing. He doesn't really understand any commands yet so some basic training will need to be done. He is house broken and hasn't chewed anything up that he is'nt supposed to. He shows complete unconditional love of people and would make a great addition to an active family! :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Soho, a Homestead Coonhound/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Homestead, or seeking a Coonhound/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Homestead.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homestead already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homestead breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Coonhound/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homestead paves the way for another one to be saved.
