Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Olivia is a one year old Flat Coated Retriever. She was turned into a shelter with her buddy, Daphne by their owner. There was no reason given for the surrender and the owners didn't even give their names. She is a beautiful dog with a friendly, sweet personality. She is good on a leash and enjoys riding in the car. They can be adopted together but don't appear to be a truly bonded pair so it isn't required. As too often happens with our orphans, during the wellness checks Olivia was found to be heartworm positive. The treatments will take approximately 30 days and then she will be available for adoption. Please consider donating to her medical fund if you are unable to adopt! We are a nonprofit and the treatments are quite expensive. See her at www.adoptagoldenbirmingham.com or call 205-908-1566 or email ashawrn@gmail.com.
