Ruff Ruff! My name is Jasper

Now that Jasper has settled in his foster home, he is friendly and outgoing and likes to get attention. He now gives kisses. When he came, he was a bit shy, but he is mostly over that now. All the same, he would probably do better in a home with older children and adults. He does seem to be a little hand shy and toddlers waving their hands might scare him. Jasper is good with other dogs. As far as barking, Jasper and his doggie friends can get quite vocal when they are playing, but Jasper is not a constant barker and doesn’t seem to bark for no reason. Jasper has learned to use the doggie door. For training purposes, when he comes into the house, he is confined to one room and does not have run of the entire house. Under these circumstances, he does not potty in the house. While we would believe that he is mostly housetrained, he might need a little time and patience to adjust to his new surroundings and settle in. About our adoption process: For more information or to request an adoption application (required), please contact the dog's foster listed above. There is no commitment by submitting the application - it just helps us determine if the pet you are interested in will be a good match for you. Next is a meet and greet at one of our adoption events - typically held on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Chandler, AZ (Ray Rd & I-10). Not every pet is at every event so please contact us first to find out when and where you can meet the pet you are interested in. If there are other dogs in your household, we suggest bringing them to ensure everyone gets along. The standard adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $140 (cash or check) which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip and collar/tags.
