My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joey is a handsome 3 year old boy. He weighs around 11# and is a gorgeous blue-so blue, in fact, he is almost purple! And those adorable ears!!!!! They stand straight up when he is curious about something.
Joey was pretty skinny and a little fearful when he entered our program a few months ago. He has really come out of his shell and has decided these 'rescue' humans aren't so bad after all! He will duck and scoot out of reach if you approach him from a standing position, but will crawl right up next to you or get in your lap if you are sitting down. Snuggles are quickly becoming his favorite pass time!

Joey is a typical young energy packed iggy. He LOVES squeaky toys and frequently gets into play-bow position to instigate play with the other iggies in his foster home. He very much enjoys snuggling with them as well, so another iggy or other small dog that enjoys close companionship would really be best in Joey's adoptive home.

Potty skills are coming along nicely so far, but we are having some issues teaching this youngin' a thing or two about 'kitty etiquette.' He REALLY wants to play with the kitty, even when the kitty says "NO WAY." We are thinking a cat-free home would be best for Joey!
