Max's Story...
Max is one of three little chihuahuas that arrived at the shelter abused and neglected. He was rescued with his sister Ruby and another little chihuahua Tiny. They have been through a lot and are ready to experience a loving home. Max and Ruby are very bonded and don't like to be seperated. So, would really love to keep these two at least together. Max is a cuddler and loves to snuggle up to your neck. Ruby is always shy at first, but the most playful when she gets to know you. She and Max love to pull on toys together. Tiny is the smallest of the three, but still manages to be the boss. He does not play as much as the others. Tiny mostly likes to be on your lap. We call them the three amigos at the shelter. They are all sweet and would make great loving little additions to any family either alone or together. Max arrived with a broken leg which has since healed nicely. You would never know, as much as he plays. They are all potty trained to a pad and like to potty outside also. Max and his companions weigh only a few pounds each, so are not for families with big dogs or very small children. Come see these sweeties for yourself. You will fall in love at first site :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Daleville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Daleville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Daleville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Daleville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Daleville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Daleville paves the way for another one to be saved.
