Max's Story...
Max is an energetic little Jack Russell Terrier mix. He is young so has little training and is not yet housebroken. At three months old he weighs in at about 10 lbs. Max loves attention and will needs lots of time to play to use up all of his excess energy. We do not know how he does with cats or other dogs. This sweet little guy is looking for the perfect forever, come in and see if he is the dog for you! He is neutered, up to date on his age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Jackson Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
