Hello! My name is Prince. My siblings and I were dropped off at the vet’s office in a sealed box. We were outside all night cold and alone. Someone had taken good care of me before I got dumped because I was in great health, clean and loving. I’ve been with The PRC for a few short weeks. My siblings found homes and now I am the last boy waiting. I was very comfortable with other cats in my cage and now I am just lonely. I come off as a shy kitty at first introduction which has kept me from finding a new home. Once I am in your arms however, I turn to mush! I am a very sweet boy who needs a patient family who will take their time with me. I always go in my litter box and I am a well behaved boy. Please come meet me and see if I am the one for you.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to 949-768-5759 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
