Gregory's Story...
Gregory (the Great)-Great Pry/Border Collie male pup,8-10 mo.

Gregory is a beautiful boy, found wandering a country road. Someone took him to the local Vets office, they thought they knew the owners. But alas, no one came for Gregory, so they brought him to the local shelter. Gregory is now in a foster home, having been taken in by the Rescue. He's a kind dog, big and full of energy. Gregory will need some puppy classes to learn
his good manners. He's smart and a willing, a wonderful boy. His adoption fee is $275 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gregory, a Germantown Great Pyrenees/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Border Collie for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Border Collie breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
