Shamus's Story...
Shamus is a 1 yr old Domestic Long Hair male. He has stunning gold eyes and a lovely long bushy tail. He is a polydactyl, meaning that he has extra toes and that makes his paws look really big for his body size. He has black whiskers.

Shamus is very laid back and mellow. He enjoys being fussed over and craves human attention. He enjoys playing with toys but would much rather just have you pet him and scratch his cheeks. He would make a wonderful addition to any size medium-energy family.

If you are interested in finding out more about Shamus, please fill out an application on our website. Shamus is being fostered in our new adoption center at the Everett PetSmart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shamus, a Worcester Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
