Scout's Story...
Meet Scout! He is a blond American Eskimo mix. At 3 years old he weighs about 45 pounds. He came to us from a rescue so we do not know a lot about him such as if he is good with cats or other dogs. With his sweet and social personality Scout wins the heart of everyone he meets. Give him a ball and he will carry it around for hours, they are his absolute favorite toy. Scout is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout, a Jackson American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Jackson, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
