Derby's Story...
Derby was rescued from the Baldwin Park shelter after his family dumped him. Well, they had left him in the yard all the time and never bathed him. His coat was filthy and matted to the skin.
He looks like a different boy now! And feels like one too. Soft and cuddly, and warm eyes that are thankful. He is about a year old and loves his new friends, love being in the house and know where to potty. email for more info or an appointment

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Derby, a Simi Valley Wheaten Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Simi Valley, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Simi Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simi Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simi Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simi Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
