Nala's Story...
This lovely lady is Nala. She was found in Jamestown looking for shelter from the falling snow. She tells us that just because she is most likely part Snowshoe, it does not mean she likes the cold white stuff! She'd much rather be in a warm home, cuddled up on a nice person's lap.
Nala's adoption fee is $75, or you can get a discount for adopting kitties in pairs. We encourage all adopters to take into consideration that most cats do better when they have a companion. All of our cats and kittens are kept current on shots, worming, and will be microchipped by us. And when it's time, we'll take care of their spaying or neutering. Plus, they come with a 3-week health guarantee and a 2-week satisfaction or refund guarantee; although we think you'll fall in love and never want to let them go. Call 937-271-1411 or email cat_rescue@earthlink.net to inquire about any of our adoptable cats and kittens. Many of our kitties can also be seen at Pet Supplies Plus on Saturday from 1 to 6; we alternate between Centervillle and Kettering stores so call for that weekend's location before you come.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nala, a Fairborn Snowshoe cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Snowshoe for sale in Fairborn, or seeking a Snowshoe cat from a breeder in Fairborn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairborn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairborn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Snowshoe breeders who help with Snowshoe rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairborn paves the way for another one to be saved.
