My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a courtsey posting for the Beverly Shelter in Waterloo, NY

Connor is friendly and playful. He is 6 years old. He has spent his life tied out all the time. He is happy in an outside run but deserves a better life than at the end of a chain. He appears to be a Great Pyrenees MIX. He appears to be good meeting people. He would be a good candidate for a new start. Would you open you home to Connor and give him that chance? He would love to be your family pet and companion.

Connor will need a fenced in yard, kennel or a cable run. Dogs do NOT due well when chained out all day. It can cause an agressive nature.

Great Pyrenees are known for their barking as they were bred to be Livestock Guardians. HOWEVER, a dog not raised around farm animanls does not automatically become an Livestock Guardian. They are trained from birth to do that job.

The shelter will have him neutered before he is adopted.
