I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Missy came to us when her owners could no longer care for her. She is grossly overweight, yet at about 8 yrs old she doesn't seem to have any of the typical Rottie health issues according to our vet (including hip dysplasia - which we were surprised about due to her size). She is very sweet and loves all other animals - she lived with two other dogs in her past home. We know that once this girl gets into her foster home and gets the proper care that she will drop weight and become the awesome Rottie we know she is!

Project Precious Rescue, Inc. is the love child of two animal rescuers who were unsatisfied with working for others. We rescue on our terms, dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, we do not discriminate against breeds, and we answer to no one but ourselves. If there is an animal in need, and we can help it, we do. We are a small scale rescue with ever changing adoptables, so please check in frequently to find your new best friend!
The mission of Project Precious Rescue is to rescue adoptable animals who may otherwise face homelessness or death, and find them carefully screened, loving forever homes. We will rely solely on our own funds and donations, and will not profit from our work. We believe every animal deserves a chance, and we do our best to help in any way we can.

If you are interested in adopting a Project Precious pet, please email ProjectPreciousRescue@gmail.com OR ProjectPreciousRescue2@gmail.com for an adoption application. After receiving your filled out application, we will screen your information and determine if we have a pet that is a good fit for you. There will then be a introduction and home visit, and if all goes well, an adoption contract and fee. When submitting an application, please bear in mind that we do this on our own time in addition to working paying jobs, so it may take a couple of days to get a response. Our adoption fees vary depending on age and type of animal (dog or cat).
We are currently serving all of CT - we may consider out of state adoptions in some parts of NY, MA, NJ.
