Jingle Belle's Story...
Jingle Belle is a quintessential kittens - soft like a pillow, sweet like a donut and like a donut - round. She has adorable markings - not very symmetrical tuxedo but it only gives her character. She does all the kitten things in style - plays, sleeps, eats, and is happy to receive chin scratches and belly rubs. We would like to place her with her brother UNLESS there is a kitty in a home in which case she can be adopted solo.

Jingle Belle and her brother were abandoned in an empty apartment and brought to a kill shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jingle Belle, a Brooklyn American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
