Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet, sweet Kody. We walked into the shelter today to look at a few different dogs, and there was Kody, right in the front receiving area. While none of us, rescues or shelter staff alike, are supposed to play favorites, there was something special about this boy. All of the staff, who by now know me well, rushed Kody into my arms. They couldn't bear to let this guy spend one more minute in his cold, scary cage. When they placed Kody in my arms, he hugged and held onto me like a baby. I kissed his little head and he reciprocated by giving me a little lick on the cheek. There was no question....this baby was coming home with me TODAY. While I did the work that I had actually come to do, the staff and two of my volunteers played with Kody in the yard. His personality is SO, SO wonderful!! He's a love, he's a character!
He loves people and he was so thrilled to be outside, out of that cage! He likes to sit on his hindquarters like a human and just give little kisses to anyone who will let him. He likes to snuggle up in your lap. He loves to be held. He loves other dogs. He likes cats. He likes kids. He loves walks. He likes car rides. He's pretty much perfect! How in the world did an angel like this end up in a shelter?! I can't fathom!
He's out now, in the home of an incredible foster mom who fell in love with him at first sight. He appears to be house trained. He is around 3 years old with a beautiful tan and cream mop of fur, and weighs about 22 pounds. He has the cutest little ears that perk up when he gets to walk or be picked up to hugged.
This guy will make some lucky owner a truly wonderful companion, and you will be rewarded with infinite love (and probably kisses!)
