Gordy's Story...
Hi. I'm Gordy. I am a work in progress. My foster mom named me after some guy who drives a car really fast. Unfortunately, I am not quite that brave yet. I am 3 yrs old & weigh only 5 lbs. I didn't have a good start in life & wasn't taken care of like I should have been. My foster mom will tell you that I am a very sweet boy that is enjoying the comfort of laying on the couch. I have to use little stairs to get onto the couch, but I have mastered that. I sometimes even go up them backwards! I am currently working on housebreaking, I haven't mastered that yet, but I will. Something else I haven't mastered is walking on wood floors. It's very scary to me, I prefer carpet or rugs because it is easier for me to get around. I have foster siblings that I get along well with & am starting to play with. When I get really excited I even sometimes smile to let my foster mom know I am happy. I would prefer a home with no small kids, but a mommy & daddy that would let me enjoy the couch with them & give them kisses. Gordy is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, microchiped, had a dental and neutered. Gordy’s adoption fee is $250.00.WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gordy, a Bridgeton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Bridgeton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Bridgeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
