My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buttercup was found as a stray running loose on the strand.

Where ever she came from, she obviously was loved.

This little lady is just as sweet and gentle as her name. On walks, she is proud to stroll by your side. She enjoys taking a break and loves to sit in your lap and watch the people go by.

Buttercup is most content when in the company of someone who adores her. She would be a great companion to an older couple, but she is calm and good natured and will go with whatever program is offered.

When you wrap this little girl in your arms you feel her tenderness. And her soulful eyes are so telling of a girl who wants to spread the love and make your world a more relaxed existence.

Please come and meet her at the Coronado Animal Care Facility on 1395 First Street, near the Ferry Landing. Hours are 9am - 4pm, every day but major holidays. You'll get to experience the magic of Buttercup for yourself.

If you are interested in adopting Buttercup, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Dog Adoption Counselor.
