Tinker Bell's Story...
If you are interested in adopting any of our dogs, please go to our website at www.floridayorkierescue.com and fill out an online adoption application.

Tinker Bell - She was born on July 1, 2009 (3 1/2 years old) and weighs 8 lbs (she should lose about one pound as she is a chunky monkey.) Foster Mom says she is very demur, a bit shy and very sweet! She seems small dog friendly and has come from a home where there were two other dogs. Her owner died and now she is with FYR. She is completely housebroken, slept with her owner at night, doesn't like being crated and is used to a walking routine. She recently had a dental cleaning and lost about 10 teeth but you can't tell by looking at her. We think she is perfect! She is fully vetted and ready to go! She is being fostered in Bradenton, Florida. The chosen family will have to go pick her up.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tinker Bell, a Palm City Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Palm City, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Palm City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm City paves the way for another one to be saved.
