My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet little Major was a stray who showed up at a young couple's home and they adopted him. Unfortunately, they underwent a divorce; the husband refused to take the dog and the wife could not, as she had to move in with her father, who would not allow her to bring Major. He was used to sleeping with her and cuddling up on her shoulder so he was glad to go to a foster home where he receives "major" snuggling! Major loves dogs, cats and all people, including children. He loves to be the center of attention and is a sweet and loving lap dog. He is not hyper at all - in fact, he's very laid back - but he is an escape artist. Understandably insecure after losing his home, Major is a bit clingy and becomes anxious when his person leaves, so he has been known to dig under fences and attempt to dart out of an open door. He thinks that's a game, so he can be a bit hard to catch! Because of this, he will need to be watched closely in his new home, at least until he settles in and realizes he is safe and secure! Please note that Major is being fostered in Tennessee, so you would not be able to meet him prior to adoption. The $450 adoption fee covers the cost of neutering, all immunizations and transport to your area. Major is the perfect little dog for just about any home, wouldn't you like to adopt him?
