Pepper's Story...
This beautiful little lady is Pepper, a petite little lab mix that is about 6 1/2 years young. Pepper was adopted from us six years ago as a puppy, but was returned for, "being left alone for too long". Pepper was all hugs and kisses to see us, and melted our hearts instantly. She is just the sweetest little pup and thrives on attention, and can't get enough of it! It seems that Pepper may have been kept outside a lot, so she has some calloused elbows and belly too, but she is such a gorgeous girl, and wants nothing more than to be loved. Pepper is extremely well behaved and will sit nicely when asked, and offer you a paw-shake for a treat. She walks perfectly on a leash and is very polite too. Pepper does not seem to be phased by other animals, and just loves all people. She is affectionate, outgoing and just the perfect little angel that would make a wonderful addition to any family. Please give this sweetheart the wonderful home that she has been dreaming of! 2/25/13 File#22296

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Forked River Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
