Abigail's Story...
My name is Abigail. My brother is Nathan. We were rescued from the shelter. The first night that I was with my foster mom, I spent about an hour just laying in her arms and purring and purring. I am super beautiful and my fur is really soft and thick. My brother and I are already fully vetted. We cost $125 each or two for $200. We are really lucky to be with Feral Cat Rescue instead of at the shelter. We took a couple days to adjust but now we are doing just great. We live with a family and their 9 year old daughter loves to pick us up and hold us. We can't wait to be adopted. We were born in October 2012 so we are still very young.

If you would like to adopt me or the both of us, please Click Here to fill out our application. You can email it back to info@feralcatrescuemd.org or diane@feralcatrescuemd.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abigail, a Great Mills Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Great Mills, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Great Mills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Great Mills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Great Mills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Great Mills paves the way for another one to be saved.
