Lady Godiva's Story...
My name is Lady Godiva. The first thing you will notice about me is how shiny and sharp my coloring is. The black and brown patterns on my coat are just exquisite. I was surrendered to the shelter along with my 7 babies. They were very young. I am still taking care of my babies right now but will be able to leave them soon and will get spayed on March 12th, 2013. I am friendly, laid back and affectionate. My babies will have no trouble finding homes but because I am an adult, it will be harder for me. You may want to take me and one of my babies? Baby Ruth and I are really close :) Feral Cat Rescue only charges $75 for adults and $125 for kittens.

If you would like to adopt me and one of the kittens, please Click Here to fill out our application. You can email it back to info@feralcatrescuemd.org or diane@feralcatrescuemd.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady Godiva, a Great Mills Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Great Mills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Great Mills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Great Mills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Great Mills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Great Mills paves the way for another one to be saved.
