Keno-Courtesy Post's Story...
Meet Keno! Are you looking for a handsome, loyal friend to keep you company? Then look no further than Keno! He is a 5-year-old Lab/Border Collie mix with maybe some hound thrown in for good measure. And he is a great age – old enough to have outgrown those puppy habits, but still young enough to investigate the world on his walks! All Keno needs now is a forever home!

Keno loves to go for walks and has awesome leash manners – he’ll even jog next to a bike! And he knows some basic commands as well! He would happily show you all of his tricks. You see, this guy just craves affection from everyone that he meets! While Keno loves his people, he may do best as the only dog in the household. He doesn’t think that’s too much to ask. He just needs someone to give him the love that he deserves. In return, Keno promises to be a great companion for years to come!

If you would like more information on Keno, please contact Sara at 440-463-4957 or s.rebol@gmail.com. She can give you all of the details about handsome Keno!

About Our Rescue Group...
The Rescue Inn, Inc. ("TRI") is an Ohio non-profit, foster-based rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs in need.

We are run by a dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate about our four-legged friends. Our mission is to save dogs from high kill shelters and abuse/neglect situations and place those animals into loving and permanent homes. We promote responsible animal ownership and provide medical treatment, foster care and training to unwanted, abandoned, lost or surrendered animals.

Our animals are spayed/neutered, receive appropriate veterinary care and are placed into a safe, secure foster home while waiting for their permanent home. We also strive to work with other area shelters and rescues to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to enhance our rescue mission.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keno-Courtesy Post, a North Olmsted Retriever (Unknown Type)/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Border Collie for sale in North Olmsted, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Border Collie dog from a breeder in North Olmsted.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Olmsted already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Olmsted breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Border Collie breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Olmsted paves the way for another one to be saved.
