My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet energetic, small and super sweet Tikka! Fortunately Tikka (and BFF Dale) caught the eye of the RAIN girls and her life was sparred at a high kill Georgia shelter and now she’s waiting her turn to be on her way to our WA state! Tikka is loved by everyone she meets. She wiggles over over when anyone comes near her, she is such an incredibly happy girl! She is full of kisses, is quiet and loves to take walks and explore. She can entertain her doggie friends for hours and you too! Tikka is a very small and pretty mix of lab and border collie and she weighs only 28 lbs. She has lovely big eyes and the softest coat and she doesn’t know how adorable she is! Tikka is super affectionate and will sit in the sun enjoying the attention for hours! At least until you get up for a walk or run or any activity! Tikka is very eager to please and is learning most of her basic skills. She walks well on a leash, only a little “pully” and is house trained and crate trained. Tikka is very easy to love and very easy to take care. She only wants some love, some food and a good walk or two! Of course doggie friends, a comfy bed, some chew toys and the Animal Planet would be nice too! Tikka gets along great with other doggie friends and I think will be fine with cats too since she’s somewhat shy and not that big. She’ll be pleasantly happy with a nice backyard to sniff around, an occasional hike or dog park visit and maybe a trip to the BEACH!! Her youth and previous crappy circumstances makes her somewhat shy, but she is warms up quickly and only needs you to help her grow into the perfect companion she wants to be. Little Miss Tikka is crate trained and house trained . She will charm you with those eyes and race you to your car! I think she would love games, fetch and maybe agility? She is spayed, micro-chipped and totally vaccinated. She will be making the journey to Washington soon and will be ready to meet you right away! You do not want to miss out on this super pup that will shower you with love everyday for giving her a very own family! Her adoption fee is $400 and it includes free training too with one of our professional trainers. To meet sweet, southern Tikka, contact Pam at rescuinganimals@gmail.com. She will be ready and waiting!
