Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This 3 1/2 year old red brindle sweetie is recently retired from a medium race career and is ready for her forever home. She is not small dog or cat tolerant. Claire is now in foster.
My name is Claire. I’m a small, red female. A lady came to the kennel to meet us the other day. She was very nice, and we all ran up to our cage doors and greeted her with kisses or tail wags. The lady told me that I was very pretty and some wonderful person will give me a good home with doggie beds and loads of toys. What’s a toy? I’m a real cutie. Perhaps I’ll ask Christopher to teach me his dance moves so I can get in the white house too.
FOSTER UPDATE:
Claire is a very intelligent dog that knows her name. She is housetrained with a doggie door without one accident. She gets along with other greys, great Danes and German Shepard’s. She has not been around small dogs but I would say “no” since she does have a strong prey drive. She really notices rabbits on walks but does not bother them when you tell her to leave it. She walks well with five other dogs, loves care rides, was very interested in anything small at Petsmart.
She does well with men or women and I think that she likes kids (I would say five or older). She has been such an easy dog to foster. She does like horsing around with the dingo (2yr old German Shepard mix). She is a delight.
