Marcy's Story...
Marcy is 1year old 14 pound mix breed sweetheart! We took a wild guess with choosing what breeds this lovely dog could be.She has a lovely soft, thick, and luxurious white coat with faint tan patches and deep dark eyes.
Marcy loves to run and play. She is an energetic girl who would excel in agility, hiking, long walks or active play in the back yard. She adores the snow and is a real outdoor enthusiast! She also enjoys cuddling and giving kisses and is very loving and affectionate. Marcy has responded well to training because she is so tuned in to people and eager to please. She adores her dog friends and loves a game of chase and tussle. She can rock it with the big dogs too. Marcy sleeps through the night in her crate. This is just a dream of a girl! She is so much fun and so sweet!

Marcy is showing that she is housebroken when kept on a schedule of frequent outings at her foster home. As with all of our dogs, even if they master that concept, they will likely need to have a continued education in this area once they go home. She is a perfect traveler in the car and will be an excellent co pilot. She loves to go on outings in both town and country.
She is working on her relationship with cats. Older kids would likely be a great match for this playful gal.
Marcy's time was up do to crowding at the high kill Carson Shelter in Los Angeles so she has come to the east coast for her second chance!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marcy, a Hillsborough Jack Russell Terrier/American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/American Eskimo Dog for sale in Hillsborough, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Hillsborough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsborough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsborough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsborough paves the way for another one to be saved.
