Earnest's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Earnest's Story...
Alright! Who is ready to go?!?! I like to run and jump and tug and crawl and play and chase and boy o’ boy do I hope you like to too! Lazy is not a word that you could use to describe me. So if you are looking for a porch dog or fireplace accessory, you can count me out! I'm a fun fella with a great sense of humor..nothing makes me happier than putting a smile on your face! Don’t get me wrong, I like to cuddle as much as the next dog (ok maybe a bit more than the next dog, especially if I can squeeze myself in your lap or snuggle under a soft blanket) but after a nice long play day. I mind my manners pretty well, and get along with all the dogs here. My crate training is pretty darn easy you know what I mean Vern? Oh! And kids 8+ would do really well with me, cuz we could wrestle around and I wouldn’t have to worry about ruffing them up! Get it? Ruffing them up! Yea, I am a joker sometimes too! Let me show you all the fun we could have!
2 years old-51lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; neuter, microchip, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced cost training class, free vet exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Earnest, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
