Jasper's Story...
Jasper is a super sweet 3 year old male beagle; possibly a mix. He is a quiet dog who listens well. He knows the sit and give paw commands. He likes to run and play with other dogs and is often the one to initiate the playing. Jasper is a very people oriented dog who does well with children. He likes to play with most any kind of toy. Jasper is a little on the large side (we are working on that) but he also has a large heart with lots of love to give. He will make a wonderful family pet. Jasper is UTD on shots, neutered and microchipped. He is also housebroken and crate trained. Arrange to meet him so you can see what a great guy he is. NOTE: JASPER HAS BEEN FORMALLY EVALUATED AND THE REPORT IS AVAILABLE FOR ANYONE INTERESTED.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasper, a Stroudsburg Beagle/Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Coonhound for sale in Stroudsburg, or seeking a Beagle/Coonhound dog from a breeder in Stroudsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stroudsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stroudsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Coonhound breeders who help with Beagle/Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stroudsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
