Boone's Story...
Meet Boone! This adorable boy is only 4 months old and weighs 22.8 pounds. Boone is a Lab mix and is true to his breed. He’s a fun and energetic puppy who just wants a family to love him. Boone is dreaming of a soft bed to sleep in, toys to play with, long walks and lots of play time! He’s eager to learn new things if you are willing to teach him, and he would love to start with his basic commands. An active family who enjoys the outdoors would be awesome! Boone is currently hanging out at the ARF Shelter. If you would like more information about Boone, please contact his consultant, Brenda, at 440-476-5606, or email her at brendakugs7@aol.com. Boone is ready to go home!
** The adoption fee helps to cover the general veterinarian check-up, heartworm test, spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, rabies vaccination, worming, flea preventative, and microchip that all dogs adopted through Berea ARF receive prior to going into their new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boone, a Berea Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Berea, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
