Dolly's Story...
Dolly is a wonderful, senior yellow lab who still has a lot of life in her, and definitely a lot of LOVE. She is looking for a place to settle down and enjoy these final years of her life. She has put in her time, and now she wants to just relax and know she's finally home, safe and sound. She always has a smile on her face and a wag in her tail. What a happy go lucky, beautiful soul. Dolly is available for adoption to approved applicants from C.A.R.E., Inc. 706-957-8316

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly, a Albany Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Albany, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
