Amber's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Amber's Story...
Amber is the mother of Josie. We would like to have her get adopted with her daughter, but it is not mandatory. Her owner guessed her to be about 6 years old, but it's hard to say, she is not going gray so they could be correct. She is going blind. So she will need more care and to be watched when outdoors. She speaks both Spanish and English. She is very sweet, and loves to be held and cuddle up on the couch. She is potty trained, she follows her daughter around so she know where to potty.

Alone her adoption fee is $40.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amber, a Ogden Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Ogden, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Ogden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ogden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ogden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ogden paves the way for another one to be saved.
