Brady's Story...
These three babies Emma, Zak and Brady were left in a crate at a shelter in Bainbridge, at 8 weeks they are too young to survive in a shelter environment so we bought them in to our rescue. We believe they are a Collie Mix and will be around 30lb when fully grown. They are fostered in a home with other dogs, cats and children and get along with everyone. They have had their first set of shots and will receive their second set of shots and spay/neuter any time now. Their adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brady, a Largo Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Largo, or seeking a Collie puppy from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
