Major's Story...
Meet Major! In hot pursuit of fun, this spirited sportsman would love to be your new best friend. He is young and FULL of energy. This boy is no couch potato, so you need not apply unless you're ready to exercise. Major LOVES children, but he will need to be supervised, as he will definitely knock small children down without even meaning to. He is completely clown-like and totally lovable. He requires indoor family living, as boxers are sensitive to extreme cold and heat, plus they are far too social to live outdoors away from their humans. Major does not have cropped ears, but preferred to keep the natural look! Isn't he a doll? He's available for adoption to approved applicants through C.A.R.E., Inc. 706-957-8316 ♥

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Major, a Albany Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Albany, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
