Petal's Story...
Name: Petal
Age: 2 years
Breed: Pit mix
Gender: Female
Petal is a tiny little sweetheart with so much love to give! She is less than 35lbs full grown, so she’s a pocket pitty! She has very cute black markings against her white coat, and a gentle expression to that kissable face! Petal is great with other dogs and loves to play. She enjoys playing with dogs a little roughly but is easily calmed down. She really likes to please people so training will be easy for her. Petal had the beginning injuries of an embedded collar (more specifically, a rope) when she came to us, but healed up just fine. She is also much happier to be getting better nutrition- her coat was dull and brittle but is now soft and cuddly- just like her personality.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petal, a Greensboro Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
