Johnson's Story...
My name is Johnson and I was found on the streets this past winter. Life was proving very tough there; I was cold and with all the snow, it was hard to find shelter. There was no food to be found, and I was extremely hungry. Thanks to my charm and good looks (I have been called the Antonio Banderas of cats), I struck up a friendship with a kind human lady. She fed me when I was hungry and provided shelter during the storms and, I thought, I could get used to this!!!. So she brought me to Kitty Connection to help me find a permanent home. I am a social guy, so I am fine living with other cats, especially the ladies. Will you be my human? I promise to be cute and keep the mice in check. Also, if you give me catnip, I roll on the floor!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Johnson, a Medford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Medford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
