Patrick's Story...
I’m Patrick… a young male cat who was abandoned by his owner when they moved away. A nice lady brought me to KC to find a forever loving home. I am very friendly, playful, gentle and oh-so-sweet and would do well with all age groups. Being so good natured and also gentle, I get along with other cats and, if introduced the right way, would do well with dogs. I am FIV-positive but in good health and able to live a long healthy life like as any cat can. I am one of the first there to greet you when you walk into the KC Rescue Room on Cudworth St. in Medford. I love to be petted and stroked; I am a solidly built, strong, and looking for love! Can I be yours?

About Our Rescue Group...
Our volunteers are a group of individuals dedicated to the rescue of unwanted animals and educating our community on the importance of spaying and neutering their animals in order to stop the over population of unwanted domestic pets; primarily kittens and cats.

Our goal is to provide the public with resources on being responsible pet owners and the proper care necessary to have a healthy and happy pet. We rescue disadvantaged cats in the hope of finding them "Forever Homes."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patrick, a Medford Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Medford, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
