Fiona's Story...
Top of the Morning to you :) My name is Fiona. I was born at the end of April 2011. I am so grateful to the folks at Feral Cat Rescue for taking me in to their homes. I now have as much food as my tummy can hold and am never drenched from torrential downpours any more. Life is good. I am a purr girl. As soon as my foster mom sit down on the couch, I jump right in her lap and start purring! I love attention! Do you have it in your heart to take me on? I am otherwise fully vetted and cost $75.

If you would like to adopt me, please Click Here to fill out our application. You can email it back to info@feralcatrescuemd.org or diane@feralcatrescuemd.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiona, a Great Mills Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Great Mills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Great Mills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Great Mills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Great Mills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Great Mills paves the way for another one to be saved.
