Mortimer's Story...
Mortimer is a smart and lovable 4 year old pug. Don't let that distinguished face fool you, he is one silly and playful little boy! He's had a rough start to life and he's ready to enjoy every moment of his new life in a forever home of his own. Mortimer loves to play with any kind of dog toy from balls to squeaky stuffed toys and plays fetch like a pro. He gets along well with other dogs and is good with cats (as long as they don't mind him talking to them from time to time). Morty is certainly a chatty boy, with soft bark or howl he has no trouble letting you know when he wants to play! He is a loyal and affectionate companion who will stay by your side and give you kisses of gratitude as you scratch his belly. Being such a clever boy he is already learning basic commands and will come when he is called. He has the perfect little curly Q pug tail and a silly little snort that is sure to make you smile. He is already housebroken and is doing well with crate training. If you're looking for an affectionate and loyal companion to snuggle with Morty might just be the little man for you. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mortimer, a Mt Gretna Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Mt Gretna, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Mt Gretna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt Gretna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt Gretna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt Gretna paves the way for another one to be saved.
