CELIA's Story...
A NOTE FROM CELIA'S FOSTER MOM:

I've had the pleasure of fostering Celia for a few days now and she is an absolute joy to have as part of our foster family. In our house we have 4 other dogs (2 of which are other fosters), 2 cats, 1 - 3 year old granddaughter as well as people of various ages! I introduced Celia to the other dogs and she is great with them. She has already become fast friends with my aussie, Sunny. Sunny actually shows off for Celia when we're outside walking and she follows him all around. It is so cute to watch. I think they have a crush on each other. Celia is very thin but eats well. We'll be working on having her gain weight over the next few weeks.

She is very affectionate and just loves to be close to us. My granddaughter, who is 3 years old, and loves dogs, plays with Celia and Celia is great with her. She takes Celia upstairs into her bedroom to playr. We also have two cats in the house and so far Celia has seen them, followed them to their food bowls (which is up high on a counter) and watches them, but has not chased them (not yet at least). She does not seem to be fearful of men, women or kids, but she is careful...almost as if she is trying to be good so something bad won't happen to her. We've gone for quite a few walks and she'll play with the other dogs outside. She actually ran to catch up to my husband as he was cleaning up the fallen branches outside and stayed right by his side.

PLEASE CONTACT ME AT HBAILEYRX@GMAIL.COM FOR AN ADOPTION APP! CELIA IS FOSTERED IN TN BUT CAN BE TRANSPORTED AS FAR NORTH AS THE NEW ENGLAND AREA IF NECESSARY.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CELIA, a Bluff city Black and Tan Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in Bluff city, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound dog from a breeder in Bluff city.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bluff city already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bluff city breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bluff city paves the way for another one to be saved.
