Annie's Story...
Annie is a quiet girl with a very sweet disposition. She's a terrier mix who weighs approximately 40 pound. Annie is truly an orphan who was abandoned, tied up with no water or food in the freezing rain when an Entergy Employee found her. She has quickly adapted to sleeping on a cozy dog bed and enjoying romping around her foster's yard throwing toys into the air. Annie is housebroken and rarely barks. Annie is available for adoption through Friends of the Animals, Baton Rouge. If you are interested in Annie, please contact her foster mom at pbschoen18@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Baton Rouge Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
